Stand up paddling is healthy and easy to learn, don’t be shy!

In a small group, we slowly get into the sport of “stand up paddling”. EVERYONE from 60 years of age who can swim and stand on both legs can take part. Those are the only requirements!
We first go through the basics of stand up paddling on land and then start a leisurely and safe excursion. These include safety, equipment, and paddling techniques. Handling the equipment (paddle, board), posture and position on the SUP board, correct paddling posture, first paddle strokes, tips on steering, and in emergencies.

Our weekly courses are held in German. If you understand German, you can join our regular classes. Our coaches speak English but we can’t do the whole lesson in English because of the other guests.

Co-Trainer Elisabeth F. Rösel, born in the 30s, has been paddling standing up enthusiastically since 2011 and has taken part in many SUP races. She is known from TV and newspapers. She is supported by one of our trained SUP instructors.

Die 79-jährige Elisabeth Rösel trägt am 13.07.2017 ihr Brett zum Stand Up Paddling (Stehpaddeln) zum Starnberger See am Strandbad in Starnberg (Bayern).
